Open Full-Time Positions


Teacher Assistant-MR Special Education-PSPS http://www.patrick.k12.va.us/documents/support.pdf
Qualification:  Minimum 60 semester hours of college; equivalent to an Associate Degree or a higher degree; or have passed the ParaPro State Proficiency Test; Some heavy lifting and physical activity will be required.

(2) Teacher Assistant-MH Special Education-HRMS http://www.patrick.k12.va.us/documents/support.pdf
Qualification:  Minimum 60 semester hours of college; equivalent to an Associate Degree or a higher degree; or have passed the ParaPro State Proficiency Test; Some heavy lifting and physical activity will be required.


Adult Education Coordinator-10 Month-Adult Education (Form T)
Qualification:  Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred; Teaching certificate preferred, prior experience in Adult Education preferred.


Mathematics Teacher-PCHS (Form T) 08-09 school year
Qualifications:  Applicants for certificated positions must possess or be qualified to receive Virginia licensure with proper endorsement.   


Occupational Therapist - 12 month for the District (Form T)

  • Licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine
  • Must possess or be qualified to receive Department of Education licensure
  • Starting salary, no experience: $52,960


 (2) Speech-Language Pathologist for the District  (Form T)
Qualifications: A Master’s level prepared SLP licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professionals, Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
OR A SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
OR A SLP who is licensed by the Board of Education with an endorsement in Speech-Language Disorders, Prek-12 and a master’s degree, licensed without exam by the Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
All applicants must possess or be qualified to receive Department of Education Licensure. 

The Department of Education will be offering the following:
The Virginia Incentive Program for Speech-Language Pathologist (VIP-SLP) pays up to $3,000 per year for speech-language pathologists employed full-time in a Virginia public school division.  If the number of applications to the Department of Education received exceeds funds available, financial incentives will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
